2nd reserve champion of the Oldenburg stallion licensing in Vechta 2012, Veneziano is already being recognized as a top quality producer. All foals at the foal shows in Oldenburg were awarded premium status.
Veneziano’s sire, Vivaldi, is the sire of No. 1, 3 and 6 in the class for 6-year olds during the WC Young Horses in 2014.
His dam Fabina was champion mare in Oldenburg in 2003, and Fabina is a full sister of Don Schufro and the dam of Tailormade Red Rebel.
In 2012 Veneziano became second reserve champion of the licensing of the Oldenburg Breeding Association in Vechta. The stallion showed no weakness, experts referred to him as the most complete stallion of the licensing. On the hard ground, in hand or while longing he showed superior performances. Unfortunately, a muscle injury prevented him from finishing his performance test as a 3- and 4-year old. In January 2015, he successfully completed his 35-day test in Tørring.
Within the last few years, his sire Vivaldi has distinguished himself as a sire in the Netherlands. He is the sire of the 2011’ KWPN stallion champion and the 2012’ stallion champion. In 2014, Vivaldi offspring dominated the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. In the qualifier for 6-year old horses Vivaldi offspring secured place one to three and in the final they ended up on place 1, 3 and 6. With his rider Hans Peter Minderhoud he succeeded in the small tour and won, amongst others, in Aachen in 2011.
Veneziano’s dam Fabina was champion mare in Oldenburg in 2003. She won her mare performance test as the best of 240 mares and she is the dam of the licensed stallion Tailormade Red Rebel and the mare Femina, reserve champion of the elite show in Rastede in 2009. Fabina is a full sister to Blue Hors Don Schufro, a living legend in both sport and breeding.
The dam line produced several sport horses and licensed stallions, such as Don Primero, Cappucino, Pentagon Peron, Davidoff ‘s Hit, Lord Leopold, Rudisha and many others.
