Description
Va’ Pensiero: 2017 Hanoverian, 16.2 hands, bay
With an impressive start, showing his elegant, light, yet strong movement, Va Piensiero immediately impressed judges at the Hanoverian licensing. In the past few years, his sire, Vitalis, has produced numerous licensed and award-winning sons. The sought-after blood of Krack C comes to German breeding through Vivaldi. Vitalis is successful up to advanced level and he won the Nürnberger Burgpokal.
Va’ Pensiero’s mother, premium mare Floies, stems from Fürstenball – who regularly provided rideable and well-moving offspring, among them many German National YoungHorse Champions.
The dam line provided licensed stallions Schumacher by Stedinger, who was vice champion of the German Dressage Horse in 2010, Advocat by Argentan, For Joy by For Pleasure, and Forsberg by Wanderbursch II – as well as Delgado, the internationally highly successful son of De Niro, who was one of the world best dressage horses and member of the Spanish equip with rider Beatriz Ferrer-Salat for many years.
- In 2020, Va’ Pensiero became German National Young Horse Champion of the three years old stallions in Warendorf with an overall score of 9.5 points. He receives a 9.5 points for the trot, 9.0 points for the canter, 9.5 points for the walk, 10 points for the level of training and a 9.5 points for his ability to train.
Va’ Pensiero impressively confirms his extraordinary quality in the stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf. The examination board awarded him five times with the high score of 10 points. With a final score of 9.38 points in the emphasis of the dressage, Va’ Pensiero is at the top
Now, we have a lovely, modern type, with willingness to work, ability to work, beauty, charm, correct foundation and deep pedigree. I think this is a lovely type to put some class into future competition horses here in the U.S. What a nice cross he can be for heavier mares!
