Description
2017 Bay Oldenburg 169 cm, WFFS N/N, Licensed Oldenburg, KWPN
McLaren is a young, very handsome stallion with a strong pedigree for performance, rideability, and athleticism. Follow the pedigree back to the great sires of (my) generation! MORRICONE – SIR DONNERHALL – AKZENT II – WELTMEISTER – FURIOSO II – CHRONOS – ADONIS XX ! This is a long, long Oldenburg line, known for soundness and rideability. This one also has BEAUTY and charm!
McLaren is a son of Morricone, the champion of the Oldenburg stallion inspection who himself descends from the popular Millennium, an elegant Trakehner sire who competed at Inter-I level under Simone Pearce. McLaren’s mother is Samatha, whose father is Sir Donnerhall (by Sandro Hit). Several descendants of Sir Donnerhall are active at the highest level.
Samatha already produced the international Young Riders horse Fiolina 2 from Nadine Krause from Faustinus and the Prix St. Georges horse Tokayer (by Tokyo) from Amy Swerdlin, who is active in America. Samatha’s dam Gamita (by Akzent II) produced two Small Tour horses active in Germany: Sandra Kötter’s Souveraens Parade (by Sandro Hit) and Linda Illmer’s Sympathico 27 (by Sunny Boy), as well as a 1.35m show jumper by Quattro B. She is also granddam of the international 1.45m level show jumpers Albfuehren’s Coala Queen (by Albfuhren’s Caladetto) and Siec Color Me White (by Contagio). In the dam’s line we also find the blood of the stallions Weltmeister, Furioso II and Chronos.
