MAXIM
KWPN Brown, 2017,173 cm
Oldenburg, Hanover, Rhineland, Westphalia, Holstein Global, Mecklenburg, , others on request, WFFS negative

MAXIM: Toto Jr. – Johnson – Uptown – a pedigree that is such a good idea for our U.S. riders; with type, heart, willingness to work (and as close to “Toto Jr.” as we are going to get!)

So, THIS is an interesting pedigree in a very attractive stallion with depth of pedigree…. A pedigree with noble heritage, willingness to work, exceedingly “User friendly” and lovely type.

From his owners:
“That Maxim is simply a stallion without weaknesses was shown by his sport test: No single score was lower than “8”. Year after year, this distinguished noble stallion with a finely honed silhouette exceeds our expectations”

Maxim presents himself as the ideal choice for breeders who want to “play it safe”: With excellent basic gaits, top conformation scores and correct feet & legs, he has everything it takes to impress when bred to a wide variety of mares. Year after year, this young athlete and sire has produced particularly typey foals with a harmonious topline and a natural uphill tendency. Maxim’s offspring are always long-legged and tall in stature – and they all impress with the beautiful “Maxim face”.

The sire Toto Jr. N.O.P. was the first licensed son of the legendary Totilas. He won the PAVO Cup (Dutch National Championships) at the age of four and five, produced the highest number of dressage foals in the Netherlands in 2017 and already has 33 licensed sons. With Edward Gal, he was internationally successful in dressage and a member of the Dutch Olympic squad. The dam Helina passed a very good mare performance test and was awarded as elite mare of the KWPN breeding. The dam’s sire Johnson, himself KWPN Champion Stallion 2005 and finalist at the 2007 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses as well as second in the WBFSH ranking, was highly successful in international dressage under Hans Peter Minderhoud for many years, winning team gold at the European Championships and individual bronze in Aachen in 2015. He has had a strong influence on Maxim’s appearance. The grand dam Capetown, herself successful up to advanced dressage level, descends from the KWPN winning stallion Uptown, who also won the PAVO Cup for four-year-olds in 2005 with Hans Peter Minderhoud.
