Particularly noteworthy is his dam’s sire, the German Sport Horse stallion Secret, who exerts significant influence on breeding with over 1,100 offspring. Under Lena Hassmann, he was the best 4-year-old in the Pavo Cup, a Louisdor Prize finalist, won national Grand Prix competitions, and successfully took part on the World Cup stage. His short breeding career has produced over ten licensed sons and an exceptionally high density of dressage horses that have already won Grand Prix prizes, such as George Clooney (Lena Hassmann), Gremlin (Quinn Iverson), Gentleman (Charlotte Lenherr), and many more.

Damline: Grey Tonic’s dam, Secret Zone PS, carries the blood of the triple world champion Sezuan through her sire, Secret. Secret was the winner of the stallion performance test and vice national champion at the age of three, vice world champion at the age of five, and dressage horse national champion at the age of six. His offspring have been sold for top prices at auctions and include national champions, champion mares, and premium stallions—earning him a worldwide reputation as a first-class riding horse maker. Secret Zone’s dam, Zantana, was sold at the age of four at the PSI auction in Ankum for 955,000 euros to a renowned dressage stable in the Netherlands and has already won up to Grand Prix level under Marieke van der Putten. She has produced three licensed sons, including former champion stallion Fürst Zonik PS, who won at S-level under Isabel Freese, and Debutant PS OLD, the 2021 Oldenburg State Champion and multiple Federal Championship finalist.
