Global Player: 2016 Bay 1.69m, OLDBG DE433330849816 Prämienhengst Siegerhengst
N/FFS (positive carrier) FFS 2018
Now named “Global Player” (originally “Grand Canyon”) – this young stallion is a tall, modern, long legged yet large framed type….. who incidentally goes back in his dam’s bloodline to my very OWN Trakehner stallion “DONAUWIND” who was influential in Danish breeding in the early 1980s!
This shining young stallion stood out at his Licensing in Oldenburg, and was acclaimed the Champion for 2018.
His trot show impressive power and engagement from the hind legs. He has excellent swing through his body. He is correct in his conformation. His damline combines solid and noble bloodlines for performance.
His sire, Grand Galaxy Win, a son of the KWPN Apache out of a Jazz dam, was successful at the Dressage World Championships in Tryon, was Danish Champion stallion in 2014, Vice-Dressage Champion in 2015 and finalist at Dressage World Championships as a 5 year old in 2016! His oldest offspring are showing promise in riding horse classes (dressage).
The dam of Global Player, Chatels Schurana was a Silver Medalist in 2007 for Denmark at the Dressage Horse World Championiships in Verden. She was by the now legendary sire, Don Schufro
Her dam’s sire brought in good Thoroughbred blood, and then the excellent Trakehner sire DONAUWIND is considered by experts to be one of the best sires of the post war period. He first bred in Germany, then Denmark, then I (Judy Yancey) imported him to the U.S. in the 1980s!! He produced Olympic and world Cup winner “Abdullah” As well as top dressage horses like Klimke’s stallion Fabian.
Would love to bring a little bit of Donauwind blood back to America!
