Description
A superb pedigree, combining Royal Diamond with the full sister of World #1 Eventing Stallion Heraldik xx. This is a most beautiful stallion with smooth lines and outstanding temperament and character.
Royal Diamond is famed for the rideability of his offspring, and he brings the time-tested blood of Rubinstein and the Anglo Arab Inschallah. Royal Diamond won the stallion performance test, the Federal Championships and countless Prix St. Georgeand Intermédiare I competitions. By the age of nine, he had already successfully participated at Grand Prix events.
Heraldik xx is one of those very rare stallions who has had offspring compete at the highest levels in all three disciplines. Currently, Herald jumps for Spain every week in the Super League, and his eventing offspring include Olympic Gold medalist Butts Abraxas, Butts Leon who came 2nd at Badminton in 2010 and Happytimes who won Chatsworth in 2010. One of Heraldik’s offspring also competed in the European Dressage Championships in 2009 at Windsor.
At the WEG in 2010 Heraldik had three offspring in the eventing, and two in the show jumping.
Strongpoints:
Blood, movement, scope.
Comments On Offspring:
His offspring are very modern in type, exhibiting elegance and blood, with superb movement and jump, as well as personality and great willingness to work.
Offspring Results:
The five year olds are already noted, by the South German studbooks, for their rideability and super temperaments. Royaldik has already had a South German vice-champion from his first crop.
Mares To Use With This Stallion:
Any breeder looking to create an eventer should be looking to use this stallion. He mixes very well with light, blood type mares and will give blood to medium weight mares. He will refine and add movement to heavier mares who are a little common and need some “flash”. For our amateur breeders with a smaller budget, we recommend Royaldik, because of his superb genetics. He will provide exactly what the Futurity judges are looking. For dressage breeders, we recommend that he is used on mares that lack leg length and quality. There is certainly a place for him in the hunter ring as well, with his elegant type, good athleticism and bascule over fences and calm demeanor that he imparts to his offspring.
